The Journal of Health AI is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the rigorous evaluation, validation, and responsible deployment of artificial intelligence across clinical care, public health, and health systems.
The journal publishes original research, systematic reviews, brief reports, and perspectives on machine learning and AI applied to clinical medicine, diagnostics, health operations, population health, and health policy.
Emphasis is placed on methodological rigor, reproducibility, and real-world validation, guided by reporting standards including TRIPOD+AI and CONSORT-AI.
Article processing charges are fully waived for the first year of publication. All articles are published under a CC BY license with continuous publish-as-ready release.
Submissions open with our public launch. Author guidelines, evaluation criteria, and submission requirements will be available on this site.
We are assembling an international board of reviewers with expertise spanning clinical AI, biostatistics, implementation science, and health informatics.
